About the Author

Dick Van Dyke
Dick Van Dyke has won five Emmys, a Tony, and a Grammy. His zest for life propelled him into the limelight with Bye Bye Birdie on Broadway and film. He became a household name with The Dick Van Dyke Show and film classics Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. More recently, Dick appeared in Night at the Museum: The Secret of the Tomb and Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. He also starred in the long-running CBS series Diagnosis: Murder. Since "retiring," Dick returned to the stage with Chita Rivera in A Dancer's Life.
